The field works are: Still Life, displaying 4,000 tools from the stone age; Left Right Studio Material,  displaying the remains of Ai’s sculptures from his ‘Left Right’ studio in Beijing; Sprouts, 250,000 hand crafted porcelain spouts form the Song dynasty; Untitled (Porcelain Balls), around 200,000 cannon balls also from the Song dynasty; Untitled (Lego Incident), lego pieces donated by the public. Other works on display by Ai include Water Lilies #1, a 15m high re-creation of French Impressionist Claude Monet’s famous painting, made from almost 650,000 lego pieces Photo Ed Reeve.
