The Marset Ringo, designed by Joan Gaspar in 2025, is a lighting collection intended for large, high-ceilinged spaces, featuring transparent polycarbonate to create glass-like optical effects. It provides uniform light distribution through a fixed or pendant configuration, with options for 70 cm and 90 cm diameters and extension poles for adjustable height.

At the Salone del Mobile 2025, Salon 94 Design presents new work by Philippe Malouin in collaboration with Swiss furniture manufacturer Lehni. The collection, Bent Aluminium, features tables, consoles, and shelves with storage drawers, with legs fitted with nylon blocks.

Lehni is a family business, involved in aluminium fabrication since 1922. Designer Philippe Malouin’s work highlights the versatility of bent aluminium, enhanced by bold colour finishes and contrasted with solid nylon components. The Theia lamp was designed by Mathias Hahn, a German designer based in London, in 2016 for Marset, a Spanish lighting company founded in 1940 in Barcelona. It has a swivelling design with two intersecting half-spheres, one positioned horizontally and the other vertically.

Its opaque metal lampshade directs light either towards the user for reading or towards an object or wall for indirect illumination. This design enables light to be projected, reflected, and absorbed in different ways. Marset

Architects Snøhetta have designed a modular sofa system for MDF Italia aimed at reducing environmental impact, enabling customized living solutions, and simplifying logistics. The system comprises small modules that allow for a variety of layouts, which are easy to transport and can be assembled and reassembled to alter configurations or for recycling purposes.

The injection-molded base is made of recycled plastic with a hollow core, minimizing material usage. The bio-foam in the seat and back is moulded for comfort, and the fabric cover is available in recycled polyester. MDF Italia

In 2024, Louis Poulsen, the Danish lighting manufacturer, celebrates its 150th birthday by re-issuing its most famous designs. Based on the works of Arne Jacobsen and Poul Henningsen, the anniversary collection uses Pale Rose on the inside of the shades instead of white, with matt white on the outside, and brass detailing.

Metalised brass is used for the frame of the PH Artichoke Anniversary Edition and the spaces between the shades in the PH 5 Anniversary Edition, whereas untreated brass is used for the shaft and switch of the AJ Mini Anniversary Edition. Louis Poulsen

Family-run Danish design company Carl Hansen & Søn, established in 1908, have launched a paper cord variant of the 1958 Børge Mogensen Table Bench. The Table Bench was part of Danish designer Børge Mogensen’s ‘building furniture concept’, which advocated building multifunctional durable furniture.

Crafted from solid oak with exposed tenon and mortise joints, the Table Bench is available in both long and short versions. It takes a craftsman six hours to weave 335 meters of paper cord using a double-plane weaving technique to crease the finished Table Bench. Carl Hansen & Søn.
