The Piatto tables are designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin of London based studio Industrial Facility. They are part of the Digest Collection which aims to explore a formal and visual lightness in metal furniture, as opposed to the heavy industrial effect that metal objects tend to have. The family of Piatto tables are made of solid steel plate, however they appear to be light. Fucina Design
