Vaarni has expanded Ronan Bouroullec's Maasto range by releasing the 016 Maasto Dining Table in Finsh pine plywood during Copenhagen's 3 Days of Design 2024 festival. Architects Snøhetta have designed a modular sofa system for MDF Italia aimed at reducing environmental impact, enabling customized living solutions, and simplifying logistics. Gilli Kuchnik and Ran Amitai designed the Twig stool for Milan-based furniture company MDF Italia. The cylindrical Twig stool comprises a seat, footrest, and base connected by a tubular metal structure, drawing inspiration from a bicycle frame. Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro has designed the Bottega table for the Italian furniture brand Kristalia. Inspired by utilitarian objects such as a wooden easel, the base of the table is made from solid ash and is available in a natural or stained finish. The Moodbord table was designed by Modesty Concept, a design firm based in Gothenburg, for Blå Station, a furniture brand in Åhus, Sweden. The table features a single drawer with its contents visible through the glass top surface. It is double-sided and can be linked to create larger tables. The Eames Plastic Chairs, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1950, utilised glass-fibre reinforced polyester resin after experimenting with plywood and sheet aluminium to create a seat tailored to the human body's contours. It became the world's first mass-produced plastic chair. Beginning in 2024, Vitra will manufacture the shell from recycled plastic sourced from Germany's 'Yellow Bag' (Gelber Sack) collection program, and the chair will be fully recyclable at the end of its life.

German furniture manufacturer Tecta has created two variants of the D8P chairs, the D8P-1 swivel chair and the D8P-2 high-legged chair. The D8P was designed by German designer Martin Hirth in 2017, drawing inspiration from the Walter Gropius-designed F51 chair, with its characteristic cantilevered armrest. The new variants add a tubular steel swivel base to the original D8P chair design.

The uses for Rotate range from an office trolley and bedside table to bathroom storage. It is made from a single piece of powder-coated steel cut into two pieces, folded and welded.

French design brand TIPTOE has collaborated with global affairs and lifestyle publisher MONOCLE to create a new iteration of the three-legged Lou stool. The olive-green TIPTOE x MONOCLE Lou stool is made in Europe using oak from sustainable forests and powder-coated steel legs, which are screen-printed in Île de France.

Tokyo-based, Japanese designer Daisuke Yamamoto, utilised discarded Lightweight Gauge Steel (LGS), commonly used in construction framing systems, to create the FLOW furniture collection. The design prioritises deconstruction to avoid a 'scrap and build' construction process. Yamamoto advocates for a 'fluid material lifecycle minimising industrial waste' approach, seeking to shift from a conventional 'think → build → waste' model to a more sustainable 'waste → think → recreate' process. Design studio Formway designs the lightweight, stackable Lightly chair for furniture company Noho, both based in Wellington, New Zealand. The high-strength polymer frame of the Lightly chair is made from castor beans, and the seat is made from recycled waste. The design allows for efficient stacking, with 10 chairs stacking one meter high. This, together with its low weight of 6 lbs (2.75kg), reduces the shipping carbon footprint. Noho

The EN collection of tables and chairs was designed by Danish designer Cecile Manz for the Japanese furniture company Maruni, which was founded in 1928. The original EN chair, with its curved backrest and loop frame legs, was launched with a soft-coloured fabric upholstery seat. An all-wood version with a solid wooden seat was released in 2023. These tables are made from a fully recyclable concrete, which comprises fragments of marble and stone without metallic impurities. Italian design company Zanotta, that was established in 1954, has added a low storage unit, cupboard and mirror to its Quaderna collection. The furniture features the 3cm chequered mesh laminate that was created by Print and designed by Superstudio. Digitally printed laminate is hand-applied to the furniture's body, a task that requires precision and takes several hours to complete. Frankfurt-based furniture brand e15 celebrates 15 years of the BACKENZAHN™ side table with the launch of a black oak edition. BACKENZAHN™ is designed by e15's founder, Philipp Mainzer.  The side table is made from wood from the centre of the tree, which forms characteristic cracks as it dries. A vinegar solution is applied to the untreated oak to loosen the iron particles, followed by a mixture of natural ingredients to transform it to a matte black finish, which is then sealed with wax. e15

The Al13 furniture collection was designed by Italian architect Massimiliano Locatelli and named after the symbol for Aluminium and its atomic number. The collection includes a table, stool, chest of drawers, cabinet, and a bed, and is available in natural, polished and anodised aluminium in various colours. Extruded aluminium window frame profiles are used to support differing thicknesses of glass; both materials have the benefit that they can be recycled indefinitely. Milan-based architects Massimiliano Locatelli have designed the Alpina outdoor chair as part of their Editions collection. The weatherproof Alpina chairs are a re-design of the 1960s bar chair. Table Flex 2.0 is a revised version of a table designed in 2011 by Swiss designer Hanspeter Weidmann for Swiss manufacturer Lehni. The 'On and On' collection of lightweight and extremely durable chairs and stools is the result of a collaboration between American furniture manufacturer Emeco and London-based designers Barber & Osgerby.  The chairs and stools are manufactured from 70% rPET (waste plastic bottles), 10% non-toxic pigment, and 20% glass fibre for strength; furthermore Emeco aims to recycle used chairs to manufacture new ones. The manufacturer is known for its reuse of waste materials and robust handcrafted chairs that are built to be passed down through generations, an example of which is the 1006 Navy Chair® made from scrap aluminium in 1944.

UK furniture maker Benchmark, founded by Terrance Conran and Sean Sutcliffe, has unveiled the AYA collection of furniture. The range includes a Dining Table, a Conference Table, a High Collaboration Table and Stools, all designed by Foster + Partners Industrial Design Team. The AYA collection is made from FSC British-grown ash, which is currently being felled and discarded due to ash die-back. The Lounge Chair 005 is designed by British furniture designer Max Lamb and manufactured by Finnish furniture company Vaarnii. Milan based, Danish designer Mikal Harrsen has designed the Ghost Wall system for Italian furniture manufacturer Cassina. The Ghost Wall system comprises of 30mm thick aluminium framed panels, in a range of materials including wood, glass and fabric, supported by aluminium racks with optional accessories including closed storage containers. The Carl Hansen PK1 Paper Cord chair is a variant of the lightweight and stackable PK1 chair, originally designed in brushed steel and wicker, by Danish architect Paul Kjærholm in 1951. The new version is made of steel and certified paper cord, taking a skilled craftsman 15 hours to weave 180 meters of paper cord onto the seat and back of each PK1 chair. Carl Hansen
