The interior design trade fair Maison & Objet 2024 celebrates its 30th anniversary with the theme TECH EDEN.
The fair highlights three trends in retail: sustainable minimalism, responsible brutalism (re-use and recycling of materials), and organic fluidity.
Homes are conceptualised as soothing cocoons, with living rooms transforming into offices, and bathrooms evolving into well-being living spaces. The hospitality sector is envisaged with cafes blending into well-being spaces, and luxury spas in hotel rooms.
