Carl Hansen BM0121 circular dining table by Børge Mogensen

Børge Mogensen, a leading figure in Danish Modern, first presented the BM0121 circular dining table at the 1952 Arts and Crafts Spring Exhibition in Copenhagen as part of a democratic furniture series for small homes.

Now reintroduced in solid oak by Carl Hansen & Søn, it is their first circular extendable table, seating four to six with a pull-out extension leaf. The 19 mm tabletop is stabilized by bent steel profiles, while an upwardly curving apron offers extra leg space, and tapered legs complete the design. Carl Hansen
