Clerkenwell Design Week 2024 marks its 15th year as a global design festival and follows on from last year’s record of 37,00 visitors. This year, there will be over 600 curated events throughout Clerkenwell, 160 local design showrooms, and 300 exhibitors across 12+ venues.
The British Collection will double in size, taking over the entire crypt of St James’s Church. Other venues include Design Fields (contemporary furniture with an international focus), Light (global lighting companies), Project (contract furniture and surface design), Elements (architectural hardware and finishes), Detail (luxury interiors), Platform (emerging design), Ceramics of Italy, and Old Sessions House (brand activations and presentations, festival hub).
New venues this year include Contact and Work on Clerkenwell Green, a pop up space at The Goldsmiths’ Centre showcasing designs for workplace interiors and The Edit in Bourne and Hollingsworth featuring leading international commercial design brands.
