The German Architecture Annual 2025, published by DOM, presents the DAM Prize winner and shortlisted projects, awarded by the German Architecture Museum (DAM). Edited by Yorck Förster, Christina Gräwe, and Peter Cachola Schmal, the book highlights 25 shortlisted projects from 100 nominations, offering insights into contemporary German architecture. It explores key trends such as circular construction, sustainable materials, and adaptive reuse, reflecting current priorities in design and urban development.
The DAM Prize 2025 was awarded to Spore Haus in Berlin by AFF Architects, a cultural and educational hub commissioned by the Schöpflin Foundation. Located in Neukölln, it provides seminar, workshop, and exhibition spaces. The jury, chaired by former Berlin Senate Building Director Regula Lüscher, unanimously selected it as the winner. Finalists include Wabenhaus by Peter Haimerl. Architektur, Sophie-Scholl-Haus by bogevischs buero, and Kulturweberei by Habermann Architektur. DOM
