New York and London-based publishers Phaidon have published Glass Houses, a volume featuring a collection of 50 houses constructed almost entirely of glass. The book features houses from over 20 countries designed by iconic mid-century architects, as well as established and lesser-known contemporary architects.
Works include a diverse range of dwellings such as urban apartments, forest retreats, coastal cabins, and mountain chalets, all sharing an intimate relationship with their surroundings.
Glass Houses includes an introduction by Andrew Heid of NO ARCHITECTURE, contextualising the significance of glass in residential architecture. Phaidon
