Park Books has released EM2N City Factory, the first major monograph highlighting Swiss architect EM2N’s 25-year contribution to Zurich’s urban transformation. The book is edited by EM2N’s founding partners, Mathias Müller and Daniel Niggli, with contributions from fellow architects Caspar Schärer and Medine Altiok.
EM2N City Factory is a self-critical review of their projects, half of which involve the conversions of existing buildings, all united by the founders’ interest in the city as an exciting, contradictory, and, above all, productive space of human life. In the book, the founders discuss their learning processes, personal interests and conceptual approaches. Park Books
