The Royal Horticultural Society holds the Chelsea Flower Show annually in May on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London. The event features garden designs and planting ideas by leading horticulturalists, with trends this year including edible food forests, naturalistic planting, flood-resilient design and drought-tolerant planting schemes.
Show gardens and designers this year include the Muscular Dystrophy UK – Forest Bathing Garden by Ula Maria, The National Garden Scheme Garden by Tom Stuart-Smith, Water Aid Garden by Tom Massey & Je Ahn, The National Autistic Society Garden by Sophie Parmenter and Dido Milne, the Terrence Higgins Trust Bridge to 2030 Garden by Matthew Childs, Blue Diamond with The National Trust’s The Octavia Hill Garden by Ann-Marie Powell, St James’s Piccadilly: Imagine the World to be Different by Robert Myers, and the Stroke Association’s Garden for Recovery by Miria Harris.
