Powerhouse, the largest museum group in Australia, launches the 27th edition of Sydney Design Week with over 60 events including tours, workshops and public architecture across the city. With reference to the work of French philosopher Bruno Latour, the theme this year is Amodern. This is explored via six ‘fields of enquiry’, namely Eco-Systems, Material Cultures, Communal Cities, Micro Cycles, Connected Threads and Photofields. Powerhouse / Sydney Design Week 2023
