Pritzker prize-winning Portuguese architect Eduardo Souto de Moura is the subject of issue 218 of the prestigious architecture publication, El Croquis. Eduardo Souto de Moura was born in Porto, Portugal in 1952, and began his architectural studies at the School of Fine Arts in Porto in 1970. He collaborated with architects such as Álvaro Siza and has received numerous awards including the Pritzker Prize in 2011. Featured works in the El Croquis publication include the Alcobaça Monastery renovation, the Bruges Congress and Exhibition Centre, a single-family house in Zagreb, a Hydroelectric Power Plant at Foz Tua Dam and the Casa Sarmento Winery.
