El Croquis 222 is dedicated to the recent works of British architect Sir David Chipperfield. Sir David Chipperfield founded his architecture practice in 1985 and now has offices in London, Berlin, Milan, Shanghai, and Santiago de Compostela. He has received numerous prestigious international awards, including a CBE, a knighthood for services to architecture, an appointment as a member of the UK's Order of the Companions of Honour, and most recently, the Pritzker Prize in 2023.
