Vaarni has expanded Ronan Bouroullec’s Maasto range by releasing the 016 Maasto Dining Table in Finsh pine plywood during Copenhagen’s 3 Days of Design 2024 festival. The 016 Maasto Dining Chair was released earlier in the year. The Maasto range is designed to be suitable for domestic and commercial settings. Paris-based designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have designed ‘Truss’, a multifunctional collection of tables, sofas and benches, for American furniture maker Emeco. The manufacturer is known for its reuse of waste materials and robust handcrafted chairs that are built to be passed down through generations, an example of which is the 1006 Navy Chair® made from scrap aluminium in 1944.
