Louis Poulsen VL45 Radiohus Pendant in two new colours
Louis Poulsen is launching two new colour variants of Vilhelm Lauritzen’s VL 45 Radiohus Pendant, Pale Yellow and Amber, available from February 2025. Initially known as ‘The Office Lamp’, the pendant was designed in 1945 by Danish architect Vilhelm Theodor Lauritzen (1894–1984) for Radio House (Radiohuset), the headquarters of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation.

Grain House in the Jutland region of Denmark by Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter
Norway and Denmark-based architects Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter have created the Kornets Hus (Grain House), a centre in the Jutland region of Denmark that informs visitors about the importance of grain locally and its significance for human civilisation. The region has a rich food and farming culture, and the new centre is situated on the grounds of an existing farm and bakery in Hjørring, a town with some of the country’s oldest settlement remains.

Henning Larsen designs school in Denmark that captures more carbon than it emits
The Feldballe School extension in Rønde, Denmark has been designed by architects Henning Larsen using almost entirely bio-based materials such as wood and straw. The building uses natural and passive ventilation systems, together with solar panels, which are expected to eliminate energy consumption daily.
